SCORE!!!

Averie has moved on from her napping days and the days are a bit longer, so today I decided to go for a jog around 2:30.(one good thing about Salt Lake, its never too hot for a jog:) Its hard talking to Averie while I'm running but I'm used to it so we we're just running along talking about the airplanes and then there was a break.(thank you) We're home and I go to open the trailer to get the garage door opener and this is how I found her! This picture makes me so happy and she is still asleep in the garage while I'm posting! So if you wonder what I'm doing around 2:30 ever I will be out for a run hoping to get lucky:)

Well we are becoming more aquainted with Salt Lake and have found that there is so much to do! Averie is growing up and we just cant keep up. This picture is taken by me because Averie wouldn't take a nap! I was trying to do my hair while she was asleep, so I asked if she wanted her hair done. When she was done she told me that she looked like a princess and I needed to take a picture for grandma to see! Anyways we are having fun with the weekends and staying busy. We miss Southern Utah and family but are glad we're lucky enough to visit a lot.

So much has happened!!

Well first things first, Wayne graduated from SUU with his bachelors degree!! I am so proud of his hard work and am so sorry that I forgot to put the memory chip in the camera at graduation. He did look very good in his cap and gown. Wayne got a job and we now live in Salt Lake while he finishes his masters degree. So I get to stay home with Averie! Last week I decided it was time to potty train and she just got it! She hasn't had an accident for a couple of days now! You can't really tell how cute she looks in her big girl underwear but it is adorable, they just fall off of her. If anyone knows where you can get smaller underwear I would love to know. 2T are the smallest I have found and they are huge.

I just need to brag for a minute, have you ever seen such a beautiful girl? She is finally fitting into all the clothes I bought when she was so small and I love it! Sunday is the only day that she gets her hair done cute so I thought I better take a picture.

I need to explain the picture of Averie with Dora! Wendy gave that to her for Christmas, and she loves it. We are trying not to encourage this obsession she has with Dora but she loves her!

Catching Up!

First of all thank you Jessica Mangum! I am so behind times these days. I feel like I have been so busy the past 2 years that I have not stayed up with the trends:) But thanks to my co-worker who lets me know that I have the lamest blog on the block and I make my bangs too puffy!!! Thank you Jessica!

It has been a little while since I've posted some pictures but it's because we are WAY to busy! All I can say is Averie is an ANGEL! The older she gets the easier it is. I love that we can just play house together. I already feel like we can be friends and not just me taking care of her! She does the cutest things, like when she does something not nice she'll ask if your OK because she feels bad. I feel like I have so much to talk about! As you can see I converted Averie's crib to a daybed which went so well for the first 2 days and then... she figured out that she could just get out. All of the sudden there would be a knock at the door and Averie saying MOM! I just put that crib right back together. Christmas was so much fun with Wayne's family. Averie and Madison are the best of friends, they did so good sharing their new toys and playing together.
