HAWAII

Wayne had to go to Hawaii for work and the kids and I got to go! We went to Honolulu and stayed in a hotel room that was connected to the mall he was working at. The trip was scheduled to be 12 days, but once we were there he had the hardest time finding employees. We ended up extending the trip making it 16 DAYS!! With 2 kids that is a LONG time, but it was fun. Averie, Easton, and I went to the beach every day(the picture of Easton in the double stroller packed with all of our beach stuff explains a lot of the looks people gave me.) Averie loved the beach and didn't want to come home. She was so good in the ocean(people looked at me like I was crazy for letting her be in there by herself but what choice did I have? 2 kids...1 parent??) We also went to the zoo and the aquarium. Poor Easton just wants to sleep all day, so we had to try and make it back to the hotel and figure out how to keep Averie quiet so that he could get a nap in. Once we opened the couch for Averie to sleep on, along with Eastons crib, you couldn't even walk around our room, it was hilarious! The lady that had to clean our room everyday didn't hide her annoyance with us! When we were supposed to leave she asked me if we were leaving tomorrow, when I had to tell her we extending our stay she said,"well then I guess I'll keep cleaning your room." with such a sad look on her face. I wanted to ask her how she thought we felt:) The picture of Averie on the little horse ride makes me laugh. She thought that these horses were her friends, we went to feed them EVERYDAY!(it cost $1 to ride that darn thing) We made it over to the Polynesian Cultural Center one day and it was my favorite part! They do such a good job of showing parts of each different culture.(I love the picture of Averie's first tattoo, Wayne was a little unsure but her and I thought it was Awsome) We made it to the temple too! I think that we got so lucky the plane rides went so good. Such a fun trip, I'm so glad that we were able to do this fun trip as a family!

Pre School!!!!

I can't believe that Averie is old enough to go to preschool! She is soooo ready though, in need of some social time:) She goes to the Washington City Preschool. She gets to do gymnastics, karate, and swimming there! When I ask Averie about school that day, she ALWAYS tells me what outfits her teachers were wearing that day. I have to get specific and ask about her friends and what she learned. She LOVES her teachers, miss Tracy and miss Jenny. Her favorite day is swim day, and her favorite part of the day is SNACK TIME! The other day one of her teachers called and said that Averie was saying that her tummy hurt so I went to pick her up. I get there and Averie said," They just wont give me any snacks mom." So she wouldn't come home she was just hungry, the teachers felt bad. Here are some pictures from her first day of school.

Summer Vacation

This summer we planned a trip to San Diego! We went with some of our friends; Melissa, Jeff, Micah, and Halie; Melissa, Matt, Ella, and Gage! It was so much fun. Averie, Halie, and Ella are close enough in age to be best buds. We went to Sea World and Shamu was a big hit. We went to the beach and the little sea crabs were a Huge hit. We went to the zoo and not so much:( the kids weren't very impressed but we had fun on the sky line; and then went back to the beach:) Easton loved it ALL but if I had to guess the beach was his favorite. Melissa Hyde got the girls matching pjs and they were quite excited. (Vacations are so fun but man they are so much work when your the parent.)

Aunt Tara's

We went over to Tara and Dustin's house last week and it is way COOLER than our house!! Averie was in heaven. It's the funniest thing ever, they have a bunny and 2 HUGE labs that run free in the yard. I can't believe that the dogs and bunny get along but it's so much fun for the kids. Averie fed the bunny a carrot and some lettuce. It's nice that they have the fun house because then we don't have to get our own pets:)

Grandma Zobrist

Last week the kids and I went down to Las Vegas for a family reunion! We stayed the night with my Grandpa Zobrist and LaDonna's. Averie had so much fun playing in the backyard. It brought back so many memories of growing up swimming everyday, picking the sour apples, and looking at my Grandma's beautiful rose garden. I wish that my kids would have been able to meet my Grandma but I am so grateful I was able to grow up with her.

Pictures

I had the kids pictures done and I love how they turned out. Easton is 6 weeks and Averie is almost 3! Time flys and I'm just trying to keep up with it.

Sunshine!!

My sister Michelle and I took the kids to the park on Main Street and they had a blast. Ryan and Averie love to play together! I also took these adorable pictures of Averie and Easton before church, I thought Easton looked like a stud with his new buzzed haircut.
